Very tasty matcha. Kind service! Just wished they would make the drinks a little bigger since 50% are ice cubes. It was amazing tho, nothing negative to say about the taste. Very pretty spot. :)!

Nestled in the heart of Paris at 27 Rue Clauzel, Shigure Café stands out as a vibrant gem for matcha lovers and those seeking authentic Vietnamese café charm. This cozy spot combines a warm, inviting atmosphere with friendly service, making every visit feel like a comforting escape.

The café’s menu shines with expertly crafted drinks that showcase the depth and subtlety of Japanese teas. Highlights include the matcha ice cream waffle, freshly prepared and delightfully crisp, and the rare find of hojicha — a roasted green tea offering a smooth, nutty flavor that’s hard to come by in many Parisian cafés. The mango matcha cloud and hojicha litchi latte are also standout creations, blending fruity and floral notes with rich tea undertones for a harmonious balance.

What truly sets Shigure Café apart is its dedication to authenticity and quality. The matcha here is vibrantly fresh and finely ground, delivering a pure, slightly grassy taste that is never overwhelmed by sweetness. The strawberry matcha, in particular, strikes the perfect chord—not overly sweet, but enhanced by the luscious cloud matcha cream topping, creating an elegant play of textures and flavors.

For those mindful of dietary preferences, the inclusion of coconut milk as a dairy alternative adds a creamy, tropical twist without compromising the integrity of the tea. While some patrons note the drinks could be served in slightly larger portions, the richness and craftsmanship more than compensate, ensuring each sip is a rewarding experience.

Shigure Café’s blend of Vietnamese warmth, Japanese tea traditions, and Parisian flair culminates in a unique coffeehouse that feels both familiar and refreshingly distinctive. Whether you’re a matcha aficionado or a curious explorer of tea culture, this café promises an engaging and delicious journey—one that beckons you to return again and again.
